How to Play

How the draft works.

The Draft

Each round rolls a valid VCT international team and year. Pick one player from that offer, then the next offer rolls.

Roster Rules

Fill Duelist, Initiator, Controller, Sentinel, and Flex. Flex requires a player with at least two played roles. A roster can only include one marked IGL.

Skips

You get one Year Skip and one Team Skip. Year Skip keeps the team and rolls another year. Team Skip keeps the year and rolls another team.

Scoring

Finished rosters are graded on Individual, Entry, Teamplay, Clutch, and Pedigree categories. A marked IGL adds a visible +1.5 boost.

Season Projection

Your final score feeds a seeded simulation for Masters 1, Masters 2, and Champions qualification and trophies.

Strategy Guide

Small decisions that swing a draft.

Do not ignore role comfort

A player can only fill a role slot if their historical agent pool supports it. Flex is powerful, but only if the player has actually shown multiple roles.

Use skips with intent

The year skip is best when the org has multiple strong eras. The team skip is best when the year is stacked but the current offer does not fit your open slots.

One IGL is enough

The game marks known in-game leaders because calling matters, but stacking multiple IGLs is not allowed. Once you have one, chase firepower and role balance.

Blind mode rewards memory

In blind drafts, agents and roles still give clues. If you remember who carried a specific event or who swapped roles that year, you have an edge.

Data Notes

The player pool uses international VCT event data rather than regional-only matches. That keeps the comparison focused on Masters and Champions-level competition, where the teams and opponents are more comparable across years.
